Question: Do you hold items?
Answer: Most of our vendors have a strict "NO HOLD" policy. This is because we sell many unique, one of a kind items that you will not be able to duplicate or find elsewhere easily. Some things we can hold up to 1 hour.
Question: If I don't buy this right now, do you think it will be here in a week?
Answer: If we had a $1 for every time we are asked this, and the customer does not buy the item, and then the item sells to someone else the very same day, we would be very wealthy. Again, many of the items we sell are unique, hard to find vintage items. Our best advice is - If you see it and love it, buy it! - because it probably will not be here when you come back for it. We have had many, many times when someone comes back in after a few days to buy their prized find and it has gone home with someone else.
Question: Where do you find all this stuff?
Answer: We have buyers, consignors, and vendors who travel all over looking for funky, one of a kind finds! They find things at auctions, estates, tag sales, on the internet and every nook and cranny they can find, including out of the country.
Question: Are you a consignment shop?
Answer: No. We are a very unique Collaboration. We have an assortment of vintage & trendy specialists who share their passion for the eclectic life. They work and assist in the shop to provide a vast variety of items for you to enjoy!
Question: Do you buy things?
Answer: YES! We are always looking for fantabulous vintage clothing especially from the 1920s - 1980s for guys and girls and costumes. We also love anything COLORFUL!! If you have some furniture, vintage clothing, costumes, jewelry, lamps, nic nacs or collectibles you would like to sell take some pictures and email them to us at info@TheOtherSideVintage.com. Or you can call us at 850/224-6666 and we will make an appointment to have a "LOOK-SEE". Or just come on down and we will look at what you have. Just call us first to let us know you are coming... We also buy entire storage units and households. Call us to make arrangements.
Question: Do you consign items?
Answer: Yes. We have a temporary MYSTERY DATE option if you meet the criteria. This is the solution for when you just have a few choice items that you would like for us to sell for you. Just ask us to see if we have space available!
Question: How can I become a part of your co-op?
Answer: At this time we are not taking new vendors. We do have a waiting list that we use when the chance arises that we have some space come available, or in the case we open up a second location. We strongly advise that you get your name on the list. You can email us with your name and contact information. We will also need to know the type of items you sell (nic nacs, furniture, clothing, jewelry, etc.), how much space you are requesting (a bookshelf, floor area for large furniture, or wall space for assorted art items), the average price of your items, and what other stores you are selling at now.
Question: Do you sell things on EBAY for people?
Answer: Yes. We do have an EBAY seller program. We can sell your collectibles and jewelry and other assorted items on EBAY for you. Please Call us at 850/224-6666 for more information.
